Massawa – Leadership

Massawa Ledership is version of our  training Massawa addressed to members, leaders and team leaders. The training teaches teamwork, leadership, and demonstrates in practice different styles of management and communication, and above all act as manager.

The main advantage of Massawa Leadership over traditional training is highly interactive and practical form of training. The training is enriched with lectures on leadership, team management and communication. A participant acquires knowledge on how to be an effective member of his team or how to manage it, and during simulation he has a chance to verify newly acquired information in practice to reinforce learning. The participant applies new knowledge in his work, not only learns about theory.

Day 1

  • The role and tasks of the manager in an organization
  • Typical difficulties while working with people
  • Manager as a leader of changes in the organization, competence requirements
  • Introduction to the rules of the Massawa simulation
  •  Managing and delegating tasks within the team
  • Played the first half of the simulation Massawa
  • Summary of the first half of the game and the analysis of cooperation, communication and management in a simulated team.

Day 2

  • Planning and coordinating tasks based on examplary project Massawa
  • Transactional and charismatic leadership
  • Psychological mechanisms of functioning of the team
  • Delegating tasks
  • The second half of the simulation Massawa
  • Summary of the second half of the game , the analysis of cooperation, communication and management in a simulated team
  • Coordinating and monitoring tasks

Day 3

  • Motivating people
  • Avoiding manipulation at work
  • Diagnosing employee development stage
  • Self-test of leadership style
  • Management styles and their adaptation to the needs of the employees and tasks

Day 4

  • The sources of problems while working with people
  • Why some people better communicate with others?
  • Traditional methods of dealing with disputes
  • Types of conflict resolution
  • Rules of communication
  • How to prevent manipulation during conflicts?
  • How to prevent a crisis in dealing with people ?
